For Mothers
The following therapists enjoy working with pre and post pregnant women.
- Stephania (Anya) Johnson, RMT graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster in 2007.
- Tara Foster, RMT graduated at the top of her class from Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic, 2010, in Toronto. Her treatments incorporate myofascial techniques that progress into focused massage with Trigger-point release while including fluid, flushing strokes. Her intentions are to slowly unwind and release myofascial restrictions in your muscle and tissue. She is knowledgeable and precise with low back issues, hips, and the neck. She also enjoys working with expectant mothers. Tara tailors her treatments and depth of pressure specifically to the individual needs of the client. She has a passion for continuing education and assisting you in the repair, realignment and return to balance in your body. Massage therapy has become an important component in maintaining health and proper function due to the stresses of our daily lives.
- Petra Hun, RMT grew up in Vancouver playing premier level field hockey, which sparked her interest in how the body deals with pain and damage and healing. After studying sports psychology and kinesiology at Langara College, she enrolled in the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Some of her preferred areas of focus are treating bell's palsy, compartment syndrome, ITB contracture, low back pain, whiplash, diaphragm work, and postural imbalances. She is dedicated to improving the overall health and well being of her patients.
- Yuen Sun, RMT graduated from WCCMT in December of 2007, and has been a registered massage therapist in BC since February 2008. He employs a slow, deep style of treatment: using myofascial and trigger point release; combined with Swedish massage.
